Open Positions
We are recruiting M.S., Ph.D., and integrated M.S.–Ph.D. students, as well as undergraduate interns.
You can apply through either the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (전기전자컴퓨터공학과) or the Interdisciplinary Studies of Artificial Intelligence (학제학과 인공지능전공).
※ Note: Applicants to the Interdisciplinary Studies of Artificial Intelligence will be transferred to the Department of Physical AI in the College of AI (AI대학 피지컬AI학과).
Who We Look For
Our goal is for each member to publish at least one paper at a major conference every year. We look for students who can define problems on their own and drive them to a solution. We fully support students in focusing on their research and publishing their work.
The lab provides AI tools, but we do not look for students who passively hand over every decision to them. We prefer students who actively use AI tools, understand their outputs, and make their own decisions to iterate quickly.
Resources
We provide a wide range of resources for research:
- In-lab GPU servers (16x NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000, 2x NVIDIA RTX 5090, etc.) and NAS storage
- Cloud GPU servers (16x NVIDIA H100)
- Personal workstation (~3M KRW) with dual 4K monitors
- Research software and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for every student
Requirements
We select students based on the following criteria:
- Undergraduate Intern: Sophomore or above, with a passion for leading research
- Integrated Student: Experience leading research in any field
- M.S. Student: Ability to write computer vision and deep learning code and start research right away
- Ph.D. Student: At least one first-author paper at a top-tier conference or journal
How to Apply
If you are interested in joining our lab, please email Prof. Bae with your CV, transcript, and research interests. We will review applications and get back to you in order.
